Four unmistakably inventive works by Anders Hillborg interpreted by three well-known conductors with a close relationship to both Hillborg and the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra.

Two of the works were also the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra's commissioned works: Dreaming River and Exquisite Corpse. Esa-Pekka Salonen leads the orchestra in Dreaming River and Eleven Gates, Alan Gilbert does Exquisite Corpse – a work that Gilbert and the orchestra also took on tour when he was the Royal Stockholm Philharmonic Orchestra's chief conductor. Finally, we hear King Tide in the current chief conductor Sakari Oramo's interpretation.

The CD was awarded a Grammy for this year's classic album in January 2012.
